IT Accesability for Disability

Debs has found another great site for Digital Champions to use as a free online learning  resource. This time from the BBC at: www.bbc.co.uk/accesability/

For those who want extra Disability Rights information you can register easily for the BBC online disability magazine “ Ouch!”

It’s well work checking out for yourself or the people you are working with. It’s straightforward ‘one click’ select  buttons mean it’s compatible with Windows &, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Macs and Linux.  There’s also a  really helpful online tool where you can check with the click of a button which system is on the computer you are using ~  something those of us who use lots of different computers in different locations often need to know.

These useful FREE  online resources tell you where you can find information about IT .

With sections for those of us who can’t hear very well, can’t see very well or are blind. As well as how to magnify the scree on your Computer, make the text larger and have voice recognition on your keyboard.

Well worth checking out when you get chance.
