Climate Week 2013 (4-10 March)

 Rochdale Council is celebrating National Climate Week (4-10 March 2013) and they are calling on you to help us. RMBC are aiming to reduce boroughwide carbon emissions by 48 per cent by 2020.

We can all be ‘greener‘ at home to help us achieve this target. Small changes can make a big difference.

This week the Council asking everyone across Rochdale Borough to look at their behaviours regarding energy consumption and think about changing them for the better to help protect the planet and even save yourself some money!!!.

Attend an event

Across the borough there is fun and exciting events happening to mark the occasion, you can take part in things like clothes swaps and recycling activities, pub quizzes and much more.

All you need to know about recycling

Details of where the recycling centres are, when they’re open and what you can recycle.
